POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of the site administrator, the EMT CTE Instructor will teach and train high school students in the fundamental skills and knowledge required for entry-level positions as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Instruction will emphasize hands-on skill development, safety practices, and real-world applications. The curriculum includes anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, medical emergencies, trauma response, CPR, first aid, and professional ethics. Integrated throughout are employability skills and preparation for industry-recognized certifications.
