Job Description
12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a 52 beds (49 main, 2 trauma, 1 Psy) Not a designated trauma center Scribes work alongside physicians Additional 10-bed overflow unit EMR- Epic ED Volume- 65,000 Need weekend coverage as well as nights in addition to days Is there a differential for Nights? minimum of 6 shifts per month 24-hour Cath Lab Specialty Back Up: All specialty backup available, except for Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgeryâ?éá MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTEâ?éánocturnist. MUSTâ?éábe open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist. MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist. New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-25 Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicineâ?éá Residency requirements-â?éáEM residency required *** Site will consider providers with IMLC licenses. Must have a Letter of qualification and a time frame of when license will be obtained when applied forâ?éáat the time of presentation. If LQ is not submitted with presentation, provider will be redirected.â?éá Temporary Privileges:â?éá Most files are granted temporary privileges prior to the credentials meeting being held due to the rapid turn-around time. â?éáWe do not need to request temps and there is not a separate process, or application, or fee in- order for a provider to be granted temps. â?éáTemps are valid for 120 days (or until the file received full Board approval) âóó?¼ó?? whichever occurs first. â?éáOnce a hard-stop date for rapid processing of files is identified, below outlines the normal temporary privilege process: Temporary privileges may be granted by the CEO, upon recommendation of the President of the Medical Staff, when there is an important patient care, treatment, or service need, such as:â?éá (i) for the care of a specific patient or (ii) to an individual serving as a locum tenens for a member of the Medical Staff.â?éá Prior to the granting of temporary privileges in important patient care need situations, current licensure and current competence will be verified. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Must have active KY license and DEA at time of presentation Will accept providers with IMLC licensesâ?éáthat have Letter of Qualificationâ?éá Must have clean file and claims history background- All claims history must be presented to MSP coordinator before presentation sent over.
