Specialty: Emergency Medicine Will take ABEM, ABIM, or ABFM with at least 2 years of ER experience Coverage Needs : Need ASAP - Ongoing Open to days or nights or both Must be able to cover 3+ shifts per month Shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a Setting: General and Surgical hospital 12 ED beds 28k annual ED volume 149 bed hospital CT, Nuclear Med, Lab, MRI, ICU, PT, Ultrasound, Cardiac Cath Lab Level 3 trauma center Census: Annual volume 22000 Patients per day: 60 % EMS 10.30% % ADMITTED PATIENTS 6.60% Support Staff: Backup: ENT, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Ortho, IM, Radiology, FP, Pathology, Surgery, Pulm, Oncology, Hematology NP/PA 10 hours per day Procedures: All Standard ER procedures EMR: PICIS Board Certification: Board Certified Required Travel: Hospital will cover. Credentialing timeline: Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start Requirements: Active LA state license or IMLC Active DEA in LA or willing to transfer ATLS, ACLS, PALS
