Description Emergency Technician to join our Emergency Department team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. Positions are available as Full Time and Part Time and may include Evening and Night shifts. Schedule options can be discussed during the interview. The Emergency Services Technician role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include, but are not limited to ECGs, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the emergency department scope of service. Or Demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a Corpsman or MD) Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training Basic EKG course Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License 1 year EMT experience. 1 year Emergency Department experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
