SUMMARY: The Employee Relations Specialist focuses on maintaining positive relationships between employees and the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. Responsibilities: Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar role Exceptional written and verbal communication Outstanding interpersonal skills Maintain positive work relationships with all team members, supervisory and management personnel to insure effective cross-departmental communications and to present a strong team environment and united workplace. Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of trainings as needed. Maintain confidentiality of all personnel files, records, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field preferred Two years of Human Resources experience preferred Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene Tribal Gaming license 18 years of age or older Skills/Knowledge: Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must work well in a team environment. Must be adept at managing conflict and influencing outcomes. Advanced problem-solving skills required. Must be able to follow both general and detailed directions precisely. Must have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to promote positive customer service. Professional conduct including good attendance record and ability to maintain professionalism at all times. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality a must.
