Duties Develop personalized employment plans tailored to each individual’s skills, interests, and needs. Assist clients in understanding and navigating employment and labor laws to ensure compliance and fair treatment. Conduct engaging interviews to assess strengths, preferences, and potential barriers to employment. Provide mentoring and training to enhance job readiness skills such as resume writing, interview techniques, and workplace etiquette. Collaborate with employers to identify suitable job placements and foster inclusive hiring practices. Offer ongoing support through coaching, follow-up visits, and problem-solving to ensure successful job retention. Lead workforce development initiatives by organizing workshops, training sessions, and community outreach events. Skills Strong knowledge of employment & labor law principles relevant to diverse populations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, demonstrating patience and understanding. Background in addiction counseling or social work to support clients facing complex personal challenges. Proven teaching abilities to deliver effective training on job skills and workplace expectations. Expertise in interviewing techniques, mentoring strategies, recruiting practices, and training & development programs. Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients and collaborating with employers. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a positive, proactive attitude.
