Here is some of what you can expect from being an EMT with us: - You will provide professional patient care through supervised assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will maintain supplies in the patient rooms and the department. - You will act as a patient transporter for appropriate patients. - You will perform unit secretary duties when necessary. - You will help maintain patient flow in collaboration with the charge nurse. - You will perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined. - You will meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. - You will provide patient care patient populations - You will perform clerical and receptionist duties - You will perform duties delegated by the RN Qualifications you will need for this role: - Current Colorado EMT-B (basic) - Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. - Current IV certification. - High school diploma/GED required - BLS Certification - ACLS Certification - One to two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred Benefits HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
