Manage investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites to ensure compliance with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and state regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Federal, state, and local regulators to negotiate requirements, resolve issues, and maintain compliant remediation programs. Oversee contractor performance, schedules, and budgets for remediation projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Conduct technical reviews of environmental data, risk assessments, and engineering analyses to guide remediation decisions. Prepare and manage regulatory documents, including records of decisions, administrative orders, and consent agreements. Provide expert guidance on remediation strategies, risk reduction, and environmental compliance. Support community relations activities by communicating remediation progress, risks, and regulatory commitments to stakeholders.
