Purpose Hold a senior leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and mentorship to the mechanical engineering discipline. Play a critical role in shaping the organization’s engineering strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in project execution. Responsibilities Competencies: Design Review Project Estimation & Planning Project Implementation Project Scoping & Scope Management Project Status Reporting Responsibilities: Perform equipment sizing and selection, alternative analyses and other deliverables. Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities. Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders. Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements. Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule. Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required. Work is highly independent. Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs. Commitment to promoting the reputation of the company through quality of work. Aspirations to grow professionally and advance within the company. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical principles and practices. Advanced proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools. Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices. Ability to develop and implement mechanical engineering standards and guidelines. Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills - written and verbal. High level of personal integrity. Strong relationship capabilities. Proficient in both written and spoken English.
