Day Shift Second Class Engineer License RequiredAmazing Team & Benefits The Maintenance Technician II performs all general to complex facility maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.Perform service requests and repairs along with preventative maintenance work.Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.Adhere to the company's safety programs.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Apply intermediate working knowledge of facilities maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs as needed.Performs plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC and fittings.Resets, replaces breakers, ballasts and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards.Completes preventative programs on all systems such as HVAC, boilers, pool certification etc.Complete repairs on interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting.Maintains the unit readiness, ensuring everything is in working order.Assist with unit inspections.Education Second Class Stationary Engineering License with City of NOLA High school diploma or equivalent HVAC certification preferred CPO certification preferred EPA certification preferred Training requirements Technical training 1-2 years Basic landscape training 1-2 years HVAC training preferred Plumping training preferred Training in all hand and mechanical tools Safety training experience preferred Job experience Two years related work experience required Shift availability:Day Shift (Required Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $25.00 per hour Benefits:Health insurance Experience:Programmable logic controllers:1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge:1 year (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
