Job Description Join our Team as an ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGER! The Role: We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Engineering Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll manage the technology components of our Development Engineering projects and programs, leading and delivering multiple large, complex, and interrelated initiatives that support key business strategies. You will ensure all projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget while establishing critical milestones, assigning responsibilities to project leads, and closely monitoring and communicating progress. You will drive alignment across functional areas, proactively resolving complex issues with minimal supervision and escalating only unusual matters to management. What You'll Be Doing: Work closely with engineering management and project technical leads, serving as the overall Program Manager to ensure all schedule commitments are met. Oversee day?to?day engineering activities for assigned programs to ensure work is completed according to schedule, budget, and performance requirements. Coordinate efforts across multiple functional groups within Corporate Engineering and with external partners to achieve program objectives. Organize resources effectively, maintain the engineering program schedule, and identify solutions to issues that could impact program success. Support the Lead Engineer's technical development plans and ensure appropriate stakeholders remain engaged throughout the program lifecycle. Stay current on technical and operational changes that impact program activities and workflows. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Clearly communicate project scope, objectives, and expectations to all relevant stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans to track progress across multiple interconnected projects. Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs using appropriate verification and control methods. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to protect program outcomes. Create and maintain all required project documentation. Prepare and deliver status reports to upper management and executive leadership. Maintain the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and uphold safe work practices at all times. All other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering required. Other disciplines considered with appropriate PM experience. 2+ years of related engineering experience. 6+ years of in-depth project management experience. Proven history of bringing programs to completion, meeting or exceeding cost, quality, and on time delivery requirements. Background in product development leading to successful product launch. Experience building large engineering schedules in Smartsheet and/or MS Project Experience in managing multiple projects with multiple dependencies. Analytical skills to identify, analyze, and convey key insights on project health. Results orientated self-starter, able to manage vision and purpose. Ability to gain consensus and deal with sensitive issues in a tactful manner. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Ability to travel 10-15%. What Sets You Apart: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience working in material handling or another durable goods manufacturing environment. Experience with 24, 36, & 48 volt batteries, as well as high voltage (80-300 volt) batteries. Strong understanding of electrical components and system architecture. What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $118,590 - $152,040 per year. Compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's background, education & experience.
