Engineering Technician

**Title : Engineering technician Duration : Alpharetta, GA Pay range : $20-$24/hr on W2 Shift time: 9/80 Reg , 6:30AM-4:00PM** **Must have strong computer skills. Job Description** Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Education & Experience Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience Desired skills: Good basic programming skills a plus. Must- Haves (Hard Skills) Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
