Position Summary We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our After School Program for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a Monday through Friday position, 3 hours per day, serving students in grades K–8. The ideal candidate brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching English to young learners across a wide range of grade levels. Employment Type: Part-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3 hours/day Start Date: August 2026 Compensation: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English language arts lessons tailored to students in grades K–8 Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students across multiple grade levels Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback accordingly Enforce classroom behavior expectations and dismissal procedures consistently Communicate regularly with program coordinators regarding student performance and needs Prepare materials and resources in advance of each session Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (required) Prior teaching experience with students in grades K–8 Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to differentiate instruction across multiple grade levels Reliable availability Monday through Friday for afternoon hours Teaching certification preferred but not required Experience working with early learners in grades K–2 is a strong plus and will be given special consideration during the hiring process Wonder Quest Learning Center is an equal opportunity employer.
