Job Description
Location: In-Person, San Francisco, CA Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Founder Compensation: Base salary + commission + equity OTE: $200K - $300,000+ (inc $105k/yr base + uncapped comms) Overview We’re hiring on behalf of a venture-backed AI company building the next major advertising platform Think What Google Ads was to search or Meta Ads was to social — this is for AI / LLM environments. As users shift into AI interfaces, this company is building the infrastructure that allows brands to advertise inside them Valuation doubling ~every 3 months First new ad channel in 20+ years Already working with Amazon, Target + other major brands (not public) Real $100B+ category upside This is not a typical AE role The Role Mid-market / enterprise Growth AE (Hunter) You will Generate pipeline Close deals end-to-end Own revenue There is traction and demand — but you are expected to create opportunities, not rely on inbound What You’ll Do Build pipeline via outbound, referrals, and network Close advertisers spending $5K → $1M+ Sell a new category (AI-native advertising) Navigate technical conversations (AI, ad platforms, auctions, formats) Work directly with a highly technical, product-driven team Top performers can expand into high-value account growth Who This Is For 2+ years closing mid-market / enterprise deals Proven quota attainment Strong self-generated pipeline High learning speed (can grasp complex concepts quickly) Comfortable selling something new Nice to Have AI, AdTech, MarTech, or Agency experience Programmatic / media buying familiarity Early-stage product sales experience Who This Is NOT For Inbound-dependent reps Reps who need heavy structure People optimizing for comfort over growth Compensation $105K/year Base Salary $205K–300K+ OTE (uncapped) Top performers: $300K–400K+ $150K–450K equity (4-year vest, 1-year cliff) Location San Francisco (in-person) Why This Role If you want Real ownership over pipeline + deals Direct exposure to a founder building something meaningful Equity in a potential $100B+ category This is that environment Final Note High expectations High intensity Real upside If that excites you — apply today
