Job Description
Position: Enterprise Applications Administrator (onsite, Florissant, MO) Schedule: Full Time Reporting to: Manager of Technology Services Position Summary The Augustine Institute seeks an Enterprise Applications Administrator to administer the applications that enable the organization. This role is responsible for managing device administration, user access, enterprise application administration, vendor and software consolidation, and ongoing license governance. The Enterprise Applications Administrator ensures that all systems are properly licensed, governed, and maintained, while supporting departments in leveraging technology effectively and advancing organizational compliance and change management initiatives. Specific duties are listed below, but may not be all-inclusive. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in enterprise application administration, IT operations, or a related role Experience with device management, Active Directory user groups, and SharePoint administration Experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and identity/access management platforms Experience maintaining Single Sign-On (SSO) systems and enforcing 1Password or similar password manager adoption across an organization Experience managing vendor and application consolidation, license management, and software spend optimization Experience with quality assurance testing, change management, and shadow IT prevention Familiarity with privacy and compliance standards (human-to-system interaction compliance) Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience Skills and Abilities Ability to serve as a dedicated “tech gatekeeper,” managing and delegating various levels of access to help desk and support teams Strong organizational skills with attention to operational detail and accuracy Ability to monitor contracts, licensing, spend, and ownership to ensure ongoing cost efficiency and rightsizing Ability to manage employee onboarding and offboarding workflows from a systems and access perspective Ability to identify and prevent shelfware and shadow IT, aligning real-world operational needs with technical delivery Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and support senior IT leadership Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Commitment to demonstrate consistently the Augustine Institute’s core values including: Humility – We serve the Augustine Institute Mission with humility and a service mind-set. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, typing and use of office equipment, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in a climate-controlled office setting.
