Enterprise Operations - Health Intern - Billing & Eligibility ROMEOVILLE, IL 60446 Overview Salary Range $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Description Christian Brothers Services (CBS) is a nonprofit organization providing health, retirement, risk, and consulting solutions to Catholic organizations nationwide. With more than 250 employees, CBS delivers mission-driven services through strong financial stewardship and operational excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented intern to support the Billing & Eligibility team within the Enterprise Operations - Health Division. This summer internship provides hands-on experience in supporting health billing processes, enrollment verification, and data quality initiatives related to health benefit programs. This is a structured, paid summer internship designed to provide meaningful work experience and direct mentorship. Pay Rate: $17.00/hour What You'll Gain Exposure to health benefits administration and billing operations Experience working with operational databases and data validation processes Insight into enrollment and eligibility management within healthcare programs Cross-functional collaboration within enterprise operations Direct mentorship and professional development experience Key Responsibilities Review and reconcile weekly reports identifying discrepancies between operational databases Verify enrollment and termination records to ensure accurate member eligibility Run queries and analyze results to confirm updates are processed correctly and billing records remain accurate Assist with billing verification to ensure member groups are billed appropriately Support data entry related to enrollments, eligibility records, and documentation (including Medicare card records) Assist supervisors with operational projects and process improvement initiatives Why CBS?
