As a Marine Interdiction Agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, you will safeguard America’s maritime borders by detecting, intercepting, and preventing illegal smuggling and unauthorized entries. Operating CBP vessels in coastal and inland waterways, you enforce federal laws, conduct vessel boardings and inspections, and coordinate with air, land, and partner agencies to disrupt criminal networks.
