This role will involve planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of corporate events, conferences, and special projects to enhance our brand presence and customer engagement. Company: Diaz Consulting Location: Atlanta G.A Position: Entry Level Events Assistant Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Salary: $51,230 - $60,560 per year The Entry Level Events Assistant will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company and client events. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in event planning, with opportunities to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and coordinating events, including client meetings, workshops, and company functions. Support the events team with logistical tasks, such as scheduling, vendor communications, and venue preparations. Prepare and organize materials, including attendee lists, event programs, and promotional items. Help with on-site event setup, registration, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of event details, budgets, and follow-up notes. Collaborate with team members to ensure event goals are met and assist with post-event evaluations. Provide general administrative support as needed for the events team. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or certification in event planning is a plus. Previous experience in events, customer service, or administrative roles is beneficial but not required. Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of event planning software is a plus.
