Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates in civil or structural engineering . It is preferred than the candidate has experience or taken a class in Structural Steel / Steel Connection design . The successful candidate will assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of various structural engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers to develop structural designs and specifications for various projects. Most projects pertain to structural steel connections, Industrial steel structures, design of stairs, railings and other miscellaneous metals. Assist in project scheduling and management to ensure timely completion of tasks. Utilize software tools such as, RAM Element, RAM Connections, RISA-3D for design analysis. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural performance under various conditions. Prepare detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Bluebeam and other drafting tools. Participate in project engineering activities, including site visits and inspections as required. Support the team in building project proposals and presentations. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design work. Familiarity with FEA software for structural analysis. Strong mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving. Knowledge of project management principles to assist in scheduling and coordination. Ability to draft clear and concise technical documents. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new software tools and engineering practices.
