Entry Level Videographer

OverviewWe're seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Filmer to join our creative team! This role offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring videographers to gain hands-on experience in filming, editing, and producing engaging visual content.As an Entry Level Filmer, you will support our production efforts by operating cameras, setting up shots, and assisting with post-production tasks.This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to exciting projects that inspire and entertain.Duties Operate cameras and filming equipment to capture high-quality footage for various projects Assist in setting up lighting, staging, and framing shots to ensure visual excellence Follow direction from senior filmmakers and production staff to achieve desired creative outcomes Help with organizing and maintaining filming equipment and supplies Support the editing process by gathering footage, labeling files, and preparing materials for post-production Participate in pre-production planning including location scouting and shot list preparation Ensure all filming activities adhere to safety guidelines and company standards Communicate and collaborate proactively with various team members regarding scheduling, addresses, time on/off-site, etc.Skills Basic understanding of camera operation, shot composition, and framing techniques Familiarity with video recording equipment and accessories such as tripods, microphones, and lighting gear Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling Ability to follow directions accurately while also demonstrating creativity when appropriate Good communication skills and a positive and proactive attitude within a team environment Willingness to learn new skills related to filming, editing, and production workflows Nice-to-have:experience with video editing software or media production tools, knowledge of ISO, shutter aperture, etc.Other Important Factors Looking for an individual who is willing to travel throughout the Greater Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Covington areas of Louisiana Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to operate in early morning hours, as well as other times of the day as needed.Timing and scheduling will be communicated in advance to plan accordingly, however due to the nature of this line of work, is subject to change.Thus, flexibility as a videographer is required.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $450.00 per week Work Location:On the road.
