About the job The EHS Manager is responsible for driving workplace safety initiatives, overseeing facility and maintenance operations, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and company standards. This role partners closely with operations and engineering teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the facility. We're looking for someone who ● Has 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, facilities, maintenance, or EH&S roles ● Has prior leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance or operations ● Understands OSHA/Cal OSHA regulations and safety management systems ● Has experience leading incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions ● Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills ● Is proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office ● Has a technical background in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance (preferred) ● Holds EH&S or maintenance certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, CHST, or CMRP (preferred) ● Has experience managing contractors and capital improvement projects (preferred) ● Is familiar with EHS metrics, safety audits, and corporate reporting structures (preferred) What you'll do ● Lead and improve EH&S programs to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety ● Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions ● Maintain OSHA logs, safety documentation, training records, and compliance reporting ● Perform risk assessments, JSAs, and ergonomic evaluations ● Coordinate employee safety training, onboarding, and contractor safety programs ● Support site audits, inspections, and leadership safety reviews ● Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and safety initiatives ● Supervise daily facilities and maintenance operations across building systems and utilities ● Lead preventive maintenance planning and execution to improve equipment reliability ● Manage maintenance scheduling, work orders, and operational priorities ● Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure safe and compliant project execution ● Support equipment installations, capital projects, and facility upgrades ● Maintain facility standards related to infrastructure, housekeeping, and utilities ● Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams on process improvement initiatives ● Manage spare parts, maintenance tools, and supply inventory ● Train, coach, and develop maintenance and facilities personnel ● Track and report KPIs related to safety, uptime, maintenance costs, and compliance
