Logic Environmental, Inc., a well-established and growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking entry and mid-level candidates to perform environmental property assessments and regulatory consulting for our Duluth, Georgia office. These are full-time, salaried positions open to candidates with 0-10 years of experience. YOU: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s-level or higher education in geology, environmental science or a similar science/engineering concentration. You should enjoy research, technical writing, and field work. Must be available for limited travel. A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a vehicle is required, although company vehicles are provided for most projects. The selected candidate will be able to work independently and communicate effectively via email, phone and in person. Excellent writing skills are a must. Your ability to work autonomously and your interpersonal skills are key as you represent our team to clients. We perform a wide range of environmental investigations and government regulatory projects, including Phase I and Phase II investigations, risk assessments, Brownfields work, underground storage tank investigations, NEPA services, ecological assessment, and compliance solutions. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position includes responsibility for performing Phase I and similar environmental site assessments. Assessments for the Duluth office are primarily conducted in Georgia with limited travel outside of Georgia. The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, project management, and communication skills. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, performing historical and regulatory agency research, and preparing environmental assessment reports for clients prior to land acquisitions, financing or Greenspace preservation. Such work includes researching deeds, maps, tax and historical records, obtaining and reviewing government agency records, directing soil and groundwater testing, and conducting field inspections and site interviews. You will also respond to client questions related to regulatory interpretations. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, hybrid schedule available after training period.
