About the role Falcon IT and Staffing Solutions is seeking a mid-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist to join our team supporting Department of Defense projects in Huntsville, AL. This role involves providing environmental consulting for system testing, facilities planning, and compliance with federal environmental policies. The ideal candidate has a scientific background, strong NEPA experience, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a federal client environment with partial onsite presence. This position is hybrid in Huntsville, 4 days onsite - Friday remote. Job Responsibilities Support and execute environmental policies and studies related to DoD system testing and facilities planning. Develop and implement environmental technical planning, management, and compliance strategies. Manage multiple concurrent high-priority environmental projects. Identify environmental issues, develop solutions, and present recommendations for approval and implementation. Conduct environmental compliance audits and support NEPA documentation including Environmental Impact Statements. Coordinate with federal clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance. Travel as required for project work across the United States and abroad. Work onsite in Huntsville, AL four days per week with remote work on Fridays as authorized.
