Job Summary The Environmental Services Lead coordinates and guides daily environmental services operations to ensure cleanliness and safety across all areas of the facility. This role acts as a working lead, performing routine and specialized cleaning tasks while assisting with training, inspections, and quality control activities. Essential Functions: Assigns daily tasks to EVS staff and ensures completion per department standards. Performs inspections and audits of assigned areas for cleanliness and compliance. Acts as first point of contact for resolving routine staff or operational issues. Trains new staff and ensures proper use of equipment and cleaning protocols. Assists in scheduling and workflow adjustments based on staffing needs. Reports maintenance or safety issues and tracks supply inventory. Leads special cleaning projects, terminal cleaning, and high-risk area support. Maintains documentation on tasks, inspections, and performance concerns. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations: Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of infection prevention, terminal cleaning, and safety protocols. Ability to provide constructive feedback and support team morale. Proficiency in reading schedules, reports, and following SOPs.
