Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Environmental Services Specialist to ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene of our facilities.In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment through comprehensive cleaning and janitorial services.Your efforts will directly contribute to the health and safety of staff, visitors, and patients, fostering a positive atmosphere in a fast-paced setting.This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by upholding high standards of environmental health and safety.Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all designated areas, including patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.Follow established protocols for infection control and adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards to ensure workplace safety.Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine flooring conditions.Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in compliance with environmental services guidelines.Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply inventory levels, and safety inspections to ensure accountability and compliance.Use specialized equipment for hospital or commercial cleaning environments to achieve optimal sanitation results.Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards across all areas.Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or commercial settings preferred.Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling.Experience with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, buffing, or carpet extraction is highly desirable.Strong understanding of sanitation procedures specific to hospital or healthcare environments.Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.Prior experience in environmental services or hospital housekeeping is a plus but not mandatory.Join us in creating safe, clean environments that support health and well-being!
