Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Environmental Tech 3 role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: $27–30/hour DOE Key Responsibilities: Perform environmental and industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Operate and maintain equipment used for waste handling, environmental remediation, and facility support operations. Conduct inspections and monitor work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards. Handle, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to established procedures. Maintain accurate records of environmental activities, waste tracking, and safety documentation. Assist with spill response, containment, and cleanup operations as needed. Support preventative maintenance and general upkeep of equipment and work areas. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and safely. Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or environmental risks promptly. Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; environmental, industrial, or hazardous waste experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in industrial or outdoor environments. Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and environmental compliance standards. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills. Forklift certification or hazardous materials training is a plus, but not required. Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
