ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma facility, serves as the regional leader for Neurosciences and is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in eastern North Carolina. Highlights Include Employment by ECU Health Physicians Hospital Privileges at ECU Health Medical Center Primarily outpatient focused position Opportunities for research Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine and intraoperative monitoring. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
