Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete or existing flooring to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to accurately execute installation plans Mix epoxy resins and hardeners according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring proper consistency and application readiness Apply epoxy coatings using hand tools and power tools such as rollers, squeegees, grinders, and sanders with precision and efficiency Conduct water damage restoration procedures when necessary to repair or prepare surfaces for epoxy application Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and finishing to achieve a smooth, professional surface finish Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timeframes for efficient project completion Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to construction site safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment Experience Proven experience in flooring installation with a focus on epoxy systems or related construction fields knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and blueprint schematics comprehension Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in flooring installation, concrete finishing, remodeling, and restoration projects Background in water damage restoration or floor care industry experience is highly desirable Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in various environments while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of the restoration industry practices including water damage repair and general building restoration processes Join us if you’re eager to bring your construction expertise into a role that values craftsmanship and precision.
