Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Flooring Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality epoxy coatings to various flooring surfaces, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial spaces to industrial facilities, utilizing your expertise in flooring installation and restoration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction, floor care, and related trades, with a passion for delivering exceptional results. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing existing floors to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, sealers, and topcoats according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements Read blueprints and schematics to accurately measure and plan flooring layouts and installations Operate hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation, application, and finishing tasks Perform flooring installation tasks including tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed Conduct water damage restoration and floor care procedures to repair or enhance existing epoxy floors Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for quality assurance Skills Construction estimating skills to assess project scope and material needs Extensive construction site experience with a focus on flooring installation and restoration projects Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools such as scrapers, grinders, trowels, caulking guns, and measuring devices Experience in tile laying, cabinet installation, carpentry, concrete finishing, remodeling and construction painting Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques specific to flooring surfaces Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and maintenance of epoxy coatings Skilled in the use of power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks Understanding of schematics for fixture installation or other embedded components within flooring projects Experience with the restoration industry or handyman work is a plus but not required Join us if you’re eager to bring your construction expertise into a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to transforming spaces!
