ABOUT US Renewed Hope Ranch is a residential treatment facility for teenage girls located in Enoch, Utah.It is the mission of Renewed Hope Ranch to provide unsurpassed residential care to troubled teenage girls who significantly struggle to overcome their mental, emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges in an outpatient setting and who have demonstrated the need for a higher level of care.Our purpose is to provide the appropriate level of structure and safety, while at the same time, balancing the unconditional acceptance and ethical treatment of each teenage girl and family we serve.We commit to help each girl to learn how to identify and utilize her strengths, discover and overcome her weaknesses, and develop the ability to show care and concern for herself and others.ABOUT THE POSITION Renewed Hope Ranch has a focus in equine therapy, where clients attend on campus sessions Monday through Friday.The equine assistant will work 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.The general duties of the equine assistant include:feeding and taking care of horses, working horses in preparation for equine therapy, working with the equine director and therapist to create and facilitate equine therapy sessions.As an employee at Renewed Hope Ranch you would be expected to go through the general training to give you a good understanding of treatment life and how to better support our clients.Qualifications Minimum of 3 to 4 years experience working with horses Ability to work full time M-F 9am-5pm Strong boundaries Must be able to pass a background check Good to have Experience working with troubled teens Experience with equine therapy Job Type:Full-time Pay:$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:Paid time off Ability to Relocate:Cedar City, UT 84721:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
