About LiDestri Foods LiDestri Foods has grown from our roots as a pasta sauce and salsa manufacturer to become an R&D engine, formulating and producing innovative food products for our national and retailer brand partners.A family-run company based in Rochester, NY, LiDestri employs over 1,000 people across three U.S.locations.We have decades-long partnerships with some of the most respected consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies and the most highly inventive retailer brands.Excellent Pay and Benefits:Great career-pathing Professional development, including unlimited online training courses Health insurance with premium contributions Dental, vision, HSA 100% company paid life insurance and long-term disability 401k - with employer match Paid time off to include- vacation, sick pay, wellness time off, and 10 holidays Company bonuses And many more.POSITION Summary:Assisting in all duties and responsibilities to ensure equipment and machinery is cleaned in a safe and efficient manner based on the production schedule and in compliance with the approved health and sanitation practices.DUTIES & Responsibilities:Assist with cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings In Fairport facility:Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at coolers Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance and cleaning Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning scheduled and as required Perform standardized cleaning and procedures with caustic and other cleaning chemicals and assist with changeover of parts Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and notify management of any concerns unable to be resolved Complete MSS as assigned for daily, weekly, monthly, tasks in Redzone Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & Experience:High School Diploma or GED LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training required Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots) Ability to wear additional PPE while participating in a CIP not limited to:chemical suits and boots and face shield.Previous experience working chemicals, preferred but not required Ability to apply computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.Ability to work a flexible schedule WORKING CONDITIONS:Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:Long periods of standing/moving, working around moving mechanical parts/conveyors Loud environment, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions Lifting/carrying.
