Equipment Technician / Shop Technician (Vending Machines) Ludlow, MA | Full-Time Vital Vending Sales is hiring a dependable, mechanically inclined technician to help support our growing vending and smart cooler business. We are a dealer that sells vending machines, smart coolers, and other convenience solutions. This is a hands-on position in a small business environment. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, hardworking, organized, and willing to learn. Experience specifically with vending machines is NOT required. We care much more about attitude, mechanical aptitude, and work ethic than direct industry experience. If you enjoy fixing things, working with your hands, learning new skills, and being part of a growing company, we want to talk to you. If you're not a self-starter or need explicit direction at all times, this is not the right job for you. What You'll Do Test, troubleshoot, clean, repair, and refurbish vending machines Assist with deliveries, moves, and installations Organize and maintain parts inventory and shop cleanliness Safely drive company trucks and equipment Perform Onsite Service Work to fix and repair vending machines and smart coolers. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Help prepare machines for customers and ensure quality standards are met Work both independently and alongside ownership/team members What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude Mechanical mindset / enjoys fixing things Comfortable working with tools and getting hands dirty Reliable and trustworthy safety oriented, customer oriented. Good attention to detail Clean driver's license required, minimum of 5 years driving experience (insurance requires) Comfortable driving box trucks and making deliveries, or not afraid to learn Able to lift and move equipment with assistance Over 21 preferred Ability to stay organized and follow processes Someone looking for a long-term opportunity and skill development Experience That Helps (Not Required) Automotive HVAC Electrical Manufacturing Maintenance Warehouse Delivery driving Equipment repair Trades experience Mechanical hobbies/projects Important We can teach vending machines.
