Department Summary UNT System Information Technology is a component of The University of North Texas System. The mission of UNT System Information Technology is simple: to be the best at delivering customer-aligned IT solutions and services. UNT System Information Technology provides the primary technology used by all campuses to support their operations. Position Overview Responsible for day to day access control and security support for enterprise applications including the ERP, PeopleSoft. Provides effort and leadership in the areas of security role development, maintenance, testing, documentation and production support. Helps coordinate activities with multiple institutions to meet compliance with established policies and procedures. May supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of related computing work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Considerable knowledge of principles of computing and/or communications networks, and characteristics of computing hardware and software used in distributed environments. Ability to supervise and train subordinates. Ability to assimilate, retain and utilize technical and applications-oriented information. Must demonstrate Analytical/Critical Thinking. Customer Service including dispute resolution. Effective oral and verbal communication skills.
