Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Game Guide to join our team throughout the Grand Strand. Venue options are in NMB, MB, and/or the Market Commons area. The Game Guide will be responsible for creating an immersive and enjoyable experience for our guests, guiding them through interactive games and activities. This role requires a blend of creativity, hospitality, and strong communication skills to ensure that every participant has a memorable experience. Responsibilities Facilitate game sessions by explaining rules and guiding participants through game-play. Monitor player interactions to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving conflicts as they arise. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, enhancing their overall experience. Collaborate with team members to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gaming area. Utilize public speaking skills to effectively communicate with groups of varying sizes. Assist in training new staff members on game procedures and guest interaction techniques. Experience Ideal candidates will have experience or skills in the following areas: Hospitality or guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all participants. Theater or performance backgrounds that enhance storytelling and engagement during game-play. Customer service experience to effectively address guest needs and concerns. Conflict management skills to handle any issues that may arise during game sessions. Public speaking abilities to confidently lead groups and present information clearly. Experience working with children, ensuring a fun and safe environment for younger participants. Previous lifeguard or resort experience is a plus, showcasing an ability to manage safety in active environments. Cash handling experience may be beneficial for managing payments or transactions related to game participation. During training you will get paid 12 an hour. Training can take up to 3 to 5 weeks, depending how quick of a learner you are. Once Training is complete, you will get bump to 14 an hour. Vault is currently close Monday and Tuesdays.
