Job Description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Escrow Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $120,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Manage escrow files from opening to closing and ensure documents and funds are handled accurately and on time. Review agreements title information and instructions for completeness and compliance and prepare required escrow documents and amendments. Schedule signings coordinate with all parties and confirm proper execution and collection of required items. Balance files reconcile disbursements and maintain clear records that support audit readiness and internal controls. Follow applicable state requirements and company policies while safeguarding client funds and sensitive information. Requirements 3+ years of recent experience working as an escrow officer within California. Understand California escrow practices closing procedures and the flow of lender and title instructions. Work confidently in escrow software and maintain accurate files from intake through final recording and funding. Communicate clearly in writing and in person while resolving issues with professionalism and neutrality. Organize multiple files at once meet deadlines and apply careful attention to detail in a fast paced setting. Qualifications Serve as the main contact for agents buyers sellers and lenders and maintain strong service and follow through. Verify payment and wire details through approved methods and escalate concerns to protect client assets. Maintain current knowledge of industry rules and documentation standards and keep files audit ready. Build productive relationships with partners and support repeat business through dependable execution. Hold an active notary commission or be willing to obtain one and demonstrate a client focused approach. REF#51921
