Although similar to a Trust Company, TSG is “intentionally different” in our focus and approach to the Estate Fiduciary and Trustee services which we deliver. At Trustee Services Group, we don’t manage wealth. We never have and never will. Instead, we always work in collaboration with the client's chosen wealth advisor. Furthermore, even though Trustee Services Group is attorney owned and operated, TSG does not practice law and instead we always work collaboratively with legal team of our client’s choosing. Because we don't manage wealth and don’t practice law, we are not daily distracted by the complexities of those practices and instead are able to daily focus upon our core competency which is to collaboratively help families navigate through the unique complexities of generational wealth. For our beneficial clients, we strive to regularly educate and invite their active involvement in the Trust and Estate decision making. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a professional with a solid reputation and experience in the estate and/or wealth services industries. Strong relationship skills fueled by an intense desire to deliver timely excellence in client services is a must. The ideal candidate thrives on serving clients and working collaboratively with the TSG team, attorneys, financial advisors, and CPAs. An understanding of and experience in estate settlement or estate planning is also beneficial. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, responsible individual who can work independently and thrive in an environment where time management, communication, attention to detail and timely follow-through are critical. A proven strong character and desire to work in a team environment is required. Responsibilities Estate Services Secure assets after a death has been reported. Inventory decedent’s assets. Complete financial forms for asset collection and distribution. Inventory decedent’s debts. Distribute tangible items per legal documents. Communication with estate beneficiaries. Collaboratively work with tax professionals to ensure complete tax reporting. Work with the TSG team to prepare reports for beneficiaries and the probate court. Distribute assets to beneficiaries Deferred Client Meetings and Review Meet with prospective clients in-person in our Colorado Springs or Denver offices, or via Zoom or phone. Educate prospective clients on the TSG Way. Review legal documents to ensure TSG has been named correctly. Support Trustee Services Team Attend weekly staff meetings.
