If that sounds like you, you may be exactly who we're looking for to join our team of EP&P paralegals.Dossey & Jones, PLLC is a busy, well-established estate planning and probate firm in Conroe, Texas with four attorneys and a strong team culture.We help families plan for the future and guide them through probate with clarity and compassion -- and we're looking for an experienced paralegal who can help us with our growing workload.This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us about your estate planning and probate experience.RESPONSIBILITIES Assist attorneys with drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents Prepare and manage uncontested probate matters from start to finish Client calls/meetings to gather necessary information for estate planning and probate cases or notarize documents.Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws; proofread all filings meticulously.Coordinate with courts and beneficiaries to facilitate smooth case progression Maintain organized case calendars, deadlines, and task lists in our case management system to ensure timely completion of all legal procedures Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, transcription, and document review while maintaining high standards of confidentiality.REQUIREMENTS At least 3 years of hands-on experience in estate planning and probate law (Texas highly preferred) Strong knowledge of estate planning concepts including wills, trusts and uncontested probate procedures.Strong attention to detail (you catch the typo before anyone else does) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage 25cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence clearly and accurately.Experience with legal administrative tasks including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and clerical support.Ability to follow the firm's workflow protocol within our case management system Experience with ProDoc or FormBuilder and Clio Manage helpful, but not required.FIRM COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $55,000 Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Health, Dental & Life Insurance benefits Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $55,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:Estate planning and/or probate :3 years (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
