Estimating Summer Intern - Construction Management

PRECISION GCC is a best-in-class multifamily construction management company with 33 years' experience of excellence in our niche. We are seeking an Estimating Intern. Key Responsibilities Help review plans, specifications, and bid documents for project requirements Support estimators in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals Request and track subcontractor and supplier quotes Assist with scope reviews to ensure all work items are included in the estimate Help maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing information Assist in preparing bid comparison sheets for subcontractor proposals Organize and maintain bid documents and estimate files Support the team with document control and addenda tracking during bidding Assist with value engineering research and alternative material pricing Help compile final bid packages and proposal documents Provide general administrative and analytical support to the estimating team Learn the construction estimating process and bid lifecycle Become familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Develop skills in estimating software and Excel Gain understanding of subcontractor trades, materials, and construction methods Participate in pre-bid meetings, team reviews, and estimate discussions Term: Approximately June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026 (flexible with dates) Rate of Pay: $20/hour Hours: M-F, Flexible between 18-40 hours per week
