Job Description:We are a structural steel fabrication company providing steel products and services to commercial contractors across the western United States and home builders in the regional market.Our organization operates in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and maintains industry certifications for buildings, simple bridges, and major bridges, supported by in-house certified welding inspectors.We are seeking a talented and driven Estimator to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential bidding opportunities and preparing accurate quotes for general and structural steel contractors.This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performance environment.Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate potential project bidding opportunities Review design drawings and project specifications Perform detailed material take-offs Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets Estimate fabrication labour and associated costs Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals Maintain organized documentation for estimates and bids Qualifications:Experience in estimating within structural steel, construction, or related industries preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Strong analytical and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation Effective communication and teamwork skills Benefits:Vacation and paid holidays Health insurance Life insurance Pay:From $70,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location:In person.
