Job Description
Greenville Growth LLC is seeking a Nonprofit Fundraising Associate to help expand and formalize our fundraising and community partnership efforts in support of our real estate and neighborhood development initiatives in the Greenville, South Carolina market. This role sits at the intersection of fundraising, community impact, and real estate, and is ideal for someone who is energized by building relationships, telling compelling impact stories, and working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. As a Nonprofit Fundraising Associate, you will support the planning and execution of fundraising strategies that align with Greenville Growth’s value-add and opportunistic real estate projects. You will research and prioritize prospective donors, sponsors, and partners—including individuals, family foundations, corporate sponsors, and community-focused organizations—who are interested in long-term neighborhood growth, affordable and attainable housing, and vibrant mixed-use communities. Working closely with the leadership, acquisitions, and development teams, you will help translate project data and performance into clear narratives that speak to both financial stewardship and community benefit. Your day-to-day work will include prospect research, pipeline tracking, and outreach coordination, as well as drafting proposals, pitch decks, impact summaries, and email communications that clearly articulate Greenville Growth’s mission, projects, and measurable impact. You will assist in organizing and supporting donor meetings, site visits, and small events that showcase our properties and community partnerships. You will also contribute to grant-related work, including identifying opportunities, gathering supporting data, and assembling application materials and reports under the direction of senior team members. Because Greenville Growth operates as a small, agile, and growth-focused team, you will have broad exposure to how fundraising connects with acquisitions, asset management, and development. You will regularly collaborate with team members across the firm to gather project metrics, community impact data, and narratives that support both new fundraising initiatives and ongoing stewardship. You will help maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM or tracking systems, ensuring that donor and partner touchpoints, follow-ups, and reporting deadlines are well-organized and executed on time. This role is well-suited to someone with 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, sales, or investor relations who wants to deepen their skills in a mission-aligned, real estate-adjacent setting. You should bring strong writing and communication skills, comfort working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with grant writing, fundraising events, or CRM tools is highly valuable. Curiosity about real estate, community development, or impact investing will help you succeed and grow quickly in the role. Greenville Growth LLC values data-driven decisions, integrity, and collaboration. You will be encouraged to propose new ideas, refine processes, and contribute to the evolution of our fundraising strategy. Team members benefit from direct access to leadership, meaningful responsibility early on, and a clear view into how their work contributes to long-term community growth. The Nonprofit Fundraising Associate position is a full-time role based in Greenville, South Carolina, with a hybrid work environment that includes both in-office collaboration and field/on-site engagement such as site tours and events. Compensation is competitive and includes a base salary with performance-based bonus opportunities tied to team and individual results. Greenville Growth offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a retirement plan such as a 401(k). This role provides a strong platform for career advancement toward more senior development, fundraising, or investor relations positions within the organization. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, communications, business, public administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Above all, we are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and mission-aligned individual who wants to help channel capital and partnerships into projects that strengthen Greenville’s communities over the long term.
