Evening Line Cook

Nature/Examples of Work: Responsible for preparing or assisting in the preparation of food on the scheduled evening shift. Make sure that food is inspected and stored fresh. Ensure that food is properly labeled and dated. Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized while working each shift. Must conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner. Make sure that equipment and tools are in good operation. May be assigned to work throughout the park in various food service capacities. Special Requirements: Must have good public relation and people skills, be well organized, and be willing to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Execute meal preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and plating dishes Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen equipment and food handling Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist in catering events or special functions as needed Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations Experience Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is required Experience with catering or serving is a plus but not mandatory Prior kitchen experience in the food industry will support success in this position Job Type: Full time, Part-time Work Location: In person Pay: $13.00 per hour Work Location: In person
