Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall health status, reporting any concerns promptly Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through engaging activities and behavior management techniques Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document care activities and resident progress Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safety and comfort during transportation Collaborate with team members, social workers, nurses, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and memory care techniques Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and long-term care procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents and their families Ability to work evening shifts reliably while maintaining a positive attitude Valid driver’s license for transportation duties preferred Join us in providing exceptional evening care that enriches lives!
