Evening & Weekend Operations Supervisor Position Summary The Evening & Weekend Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all after-hours warehouse operations, with a primary focus on nights and weekends when events return to the warehouse. This role ensures that equipment, inventory, vehicles, and staff are properly managed during after-hours operations. This position serves as the primary point of accountability for all employees entering and exiting the building while on duty , as well as the main point of contact for staff returning from events on weekends and evenings. As the role grows, this position may manage and train additional warehouse or operations staff. Schedule Expectations Primary schedule: Nights and weekends Key coverage: Saturday & Sunday event returns Some weekday operational shifts may be required based on event volume Key Responsibilities Building Access & Staff Accountability Be accountable for all employees entering and exiting the building while on duty Ensure proper sign-in/sign-out, timekeeping, and building access procedures are followed Monitor after-hours activity to maintain safety, accountability, and operational standards Address and document any access, conduct, or policy issues and escalate when necessary Event Return & Warehouse Close-Out Be present when event teams return to the warehouse after events Oversee unloading of vehicles and ensure proper handling of equipment, food service items, and rentals Confirm all items are returned according to event orders and packing lists Identify, document, and report missing, damaged, or improperly returned items Inventory & Organization Take inventory of all items returning from events Ensure all equipment, smallwares, linens, and supplies are cleaned, organized, and stored correctly Maintain clear organization of warehouse zones and storage systems Flag inventory shortages, losses, or recurring issues to leadership Staff Oversight & Support Act as the primary after-hours supervisor for warehouse and returning event staff Ensure team members follow warehouse SOPs for breakdown, cleaning, and storage Provide direction, coaching, and correction when items are not put away properly Maintain a professional, calm leadership presence during late-night operations Weekend Point of Contact Serve as the primary operations contact on Saturdays and Sundays Handle real-time issues related to warehouse access, staffing questions, and operational needs Escalate issues appropriately when leadership involvement is required Day-to-Day Operational Support Support daily warehouse operations when scheduled Assist with organization projects, inventory audits, and process improvements Help maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in the warehouse Leadership & Growth (Future-Focused) Assist with onboarding and training new warehouse or operations staff Support scheduling and task delegation as the team grows Potential to manage direct reports as operations scale Qualifications Experience in catering, events, warehouse operations, or hospitality Strong organizational and follow-through skills Comfortable enforcing standards and holding peers accountable Ability to work nights and weekends consistently Leadership mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure Physically able to assist with unloading and warehouse organization More detail about 12th Street Catering part of 12th Street Catering, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/283084-12th-street-catering
