Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary: Perry Consulting is a full service event/meeting planning company and the Event Assistant plays an integral part of the planning process to ensure our team is fully prepared to execute on event days. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Event Assistant is key in assisting with pre-event administration so beingdetail oriented, dependable and available to work some nights and weekendsare critical. Overview of responsibilities - Keeps updated calendar of events Manages office supplies and event inventory Assists with tasks related to events, project management and communications Venue and event product research Helps cultivate relationships with existing and prospective vendor partners Data entry of auction items, guest lists, inventory, etc. Supporting the events team to make sure that each event has the resourcesneeded to be successful Help prepare for events by making nametags, table tents, printing checklist,registration list, etc. Assist with event set-up and break down (requires some lifting) Assist with site décor Collaborate with vendors onsite to ensure continuity and flow of the event Provide excellent customer service to Perry Consulting clients and their guest Greet guest and help with guest registration and auction check-in/check-out Other duties as assigned to help produce a successful event Proactive communication with PCLLC team members to ensure seamless eventmanagement Essential Skills and Experience Customer service experience Proactive open and honest communication Maintain confidentiality Ability to perform designated duties with minimal supervision Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Problem solving skills and quick creative thinking are critical Skilled in establishing effective working relationships Must work well under pressure Ability to take direction and feedback with positive attitude Proficient in MS Office programs Familiarity with Google Drive Other Notes: Individual must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the Greater Phoenix area and surrounding cities.
