Event Security Attendant

Summary As an Event Security Attendant at A'BULAE/Le VENER , you will gain invaluable experience working alongside a passionate venue team and exceptional clientele.Your main objective will be to monitor the venues themselves, as well as its neighborhood, vendor partners, guests, and staff, to ensure a safe event is enjoyed by all.You'll gain valuable customer service and management experience in the event & security industry, all while benefiting from a part-time flexible schedule.Essential Functions Create a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere for our clients and their guests.Ensure safe behaviors are practiced around alcohol.Ensure all cards/gifts are secured and signed out to the appropriate individual(s).Secure perimeter of property by routinely patrolling the grounds and parking lot and checking all rooms of the venue.Monitor and prevent potential damage, theft, and illegal activity.Work alongside the event coordinator to oversee the facility and help with general upkeep.Assist event coordinator with traffic flow and directions.Foresee potential opportunities for aggression/violence and de-escalate situations.Remove unwelcome/non rule-abiding individuals from venue premises.Competencies Exceptional customer service/client experience skills Acute emotional intelligence Willing and able to confront negative behaviors A great listener, excellent communication skills Able to handle high-pressure situations Strong sense of right/wrong Ability to physically defend themselves/others is preferred Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.00 per hour Expected hours:5 - 20 per week Work Location:In person.
