Overview Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Travel: Opportunities to travel to the USA and represent caa. Candidates must have a valid, up-to-date visa and active travel authorization. ✈️ Compensation: Competitive annual salary ranging from $45,000 - $65,000 USD based on experience, skills, and qualifications. 🚨 Previous full-time Events Ownership experience is required. 🌟 About the Role caa (Capital Analytics Associates) is looking for an Associate Events Manager who is equal parts logistician, relationship-builder, and road warrior. We host 18 leadership summits a year across the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest — full-day, high-energy, executive-level events — and we need someone who runs them like a pro without needing their hand held. We are caa! https://youtu.be/ZlKbddSEXKo About us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8GtDo-_M2w What You’ll Do Event Planning & Logistics Plan and manage all event logistics: venue, catering, AV, seating, materials, and signage Build and own the run-of-show, floor plans, and contingency plans for every event Coordinate shipping, receiving, setup, and breakdown of all caa materials Ensure every event is buttoned up, on budget, and on brand Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, AV teams, caterers, hotels, and local staff Ensure all sponsor deliverables are fulfilled — RSVPs, engagement tables, banners, signage. On average, each event has 10-20 sponsors Prepare all guest name tags (200-400 each event), table printables, registration materials, and signage Track and manage event budgets with a cost-conscious eye Partner with Sales and Digital Marketing to drive attendance through phone calls, Eventbrite (or other ticket sales platforms), newsletters and your own creativity Own RSVP tracking and invite list management Support promotional efforts across LinkedIn, Eventbrite, and email campaigns Internal Coordination Work with Editorial to coordinate panel prep and speaker sessions Attend speaker prep meetings and align on logistics Own internal timelines and keep lead-up meetings running on schedule On-Site Execution Run the registration desk and oversee material distribution Troubleshoot in real time — because something always comes up Support speakers, maintain sponsor visibility, and keep the room running smoothly Be the calm in the room so everyone else can be too Ship all caa materials to and from the venue ensuring timely delivery What You Bring 4–7 years of event management or related experience (5 years preferred) Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Marketing or Communications preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Eventbrite, and CRM tools (Zoho or similar, 3 years minimum) Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp email and work a registration table with equal ease Experience managing vendor relationships and event budgets Ability to stay cool, organized, and resourceful under pressure ✔ Highly organized ✔ Resourceful and proactive ✔ Energized by connection and collaboration ✔ Eager to travel ✔ Creative and an Innovative Thinker Able to travel frequently throughout the year Able to manage and track a budget for each event, multiple events simultaneously Independent and don’t need supervision What We Offer Competitive holiday and Earned Time Off (ETO) Summer early Fridays Volunteerism Leave Team Member Referral Bonus Meaningful networking opportunities nationwide caa is a founder-led media company that has been connecting business leaders for over 10 years.
