Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and food service personnel, ensuring smooth shift management and high performance. Develop and implement creative menus that align with the establishment’s brand and customer preferences, incorporating fine dining techniques and current culinary trends. Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet established standards while adhering to food safety regulations. Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste, optimize costs, and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Coordinate catering events and banquet services by planning menus, supervising food setup, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes. Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards across all kitchen operations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations to cultivate a motivated culinary team. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, banquet service, and restaurant management. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Deep knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary requirements, inventory management, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and food industry best practices. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate with other departments. Experience in managing large-scale events such as banquets or catering functions with attention to detail. Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation, inventory control systems, and hospitality standards including bartending skills is a plus.
