Now Hiring: Executive Chef for a Mediterranean Restaurant A vibrant small‑plates experience infused with Mediterranean flair and a lively, social feel. Paired with a curated wine and cocktail list made for easy sipping and good company. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Chef to lead the kitchen of our new restaurant in Needham, Massachusetts. Planned opening date August 2026. This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and a proven track record in high-volume restaurant environments. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef Extensive experience with Mediterranean or similar cuisines Proven success managing high-volume service Strong leadership and team-development skills Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food costs, and labor management Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Oversee all daily kitchen operations and culinary execution Develop, execute, and maintain menus aligned with our Mediterranean small plates concept Implement and monitor cost control measures to manage food and operational expenses Control and optimize labor costs, including staffing and productivity Create and manage staff schedules Handle inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to uphold high performance standards What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to shape and grow a vibrant Mediterranean concept Supportive ownership and a collaborative team environment Long-term growth and leadership opportunities If you are a passionate, organized, and results-driven chef with a love for Mediterranean cuisine and operational excellence, we encourage you to apply.
