The successful candidate will serve as the chief executive for both the 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities, setting the strategic direction, overseeing operations, managing staff and consultants, and leading fundraising efforts. This role is pivotal in blending high-level strategy with daily execution and requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in both areas. The Executive Director will also be the primary spokesperson for the organization, engaging in year-round lobbying and strategic advocacy on local, regional, and state levels. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a proven track record in nonprofit management, with experience in both advocacy and education. The role demands a leader who is passionate about the mission and can effectively communicate and promote the organization's goals.
