They are seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization in defining and evolving its mission within the context of a rapidly changing strategic and funding landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic vision, organizational leadership, and fundraising, and must be committed to the values of open science, integrity, and humility. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include articulating a clear vision for the organization's mission, translating that vision into actionable strategies, and regularly evaluating the impact of the work. The role also involves leading a high-performing interdisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative culture, and partnering with the Board to strengthen governance. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic leadership, experience in guiding research or technical teams, and a proven track record in fundraising. They should be adept at navigating the intersection of science, policy, and technology, and be able to translate complex scientific work into compelling narratives.
